CVQ: Jared Palardy, Chuck Laufer, Neil Cerutti and Charlie Cerutti
CVQ has won the Mountain Division quartet championship in the Northeastern District of the Barbershop Harmony Society twice in the past 5 years, and is currently one of the Top 10 quartets in the district. The quartet has been performing and competing in Barbershop singing events since 1999. We also sing for county fairs, family reunions, historical events and private parties.
Neil Cerutti sings lead, lives in Northfield and works at Norwich University.
Charlie Cerutti sings tenor, lives in Montpelier and works at the Riverbend Country Store in North Montpelier.
Chuck Laufer now sings bass, lives in Williamstown and works at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
Newcomer Jared Palardy sings baritone, has just graduated from St. Michael's college this year, and is the reason Chuck is singing bass!
CVQ sings a wide variety of music primarily in the barbershop style but is also noted for delivering upbeat renditions of Doo-wop, Broadway, Jazz and Holiday music. And everything we sing "swings"!
